Yoopies

Discover how a responsive eCommerce UX/UI redesign for Yoopies' childcare marketplace streamlined checkout, cut abandonment, and boosted conversions.

FindABabysitter.com was a UK childcare marketplace. Growth on the books was not finishing as bookings. Parents and sitters needed two sides of the same product, not one signup that tried to be both.

The improved product later sat inside the Yoopies acquisition.

Objective

  • Make finding, shortlisting and booking childcare finishable.

  • Put the paywall on reply, not on the first search.

Approach

  • UX design and information architecture from research and four personas covering parents and carers.

  • IA that splits Find a Childcarer from Find a Job.

  • Ecommerce website redesign of the paywall so plans sit on the reply, not on the first search.

  • Desktop and mobile wires.

Impact

  • Both sides of the marketplace share one structure.

  • Search stays open. Reply is the paid moment.

  • The product later moved with the Yoopies acquisition.
