Team Around You is a UK social-care directory. The platform holds more than 61,000 listings, and families, commissioners and providers all arrive with a different job.

They needed search and profiles that could carry that load, then a custom build to run it.

Objective

• Replace a legacy PHP system that made registration, profiles and mobile painful.

• Make public search feel like a map-led marketplace.

• Leave room for featured listings and subscriptions.

Approach

• UX and UI design, information architecture and custom web development in six milestones: discovery, UX/UI, core build, provider features, seeker features, launch.

• Member area for profile, listings and shortlist.

• Public search as what / where plus a map.

• Admin for users, organisations, listings, categories, email and SEO.

Impact

• TAY is live with 61,000+ listings on the new stack.

• Search works like a directory, not a folder tree.
