The Happy Planner is a US planner brand: dated and undated books, calendars, personal diaries, stickers, accessories, disc-bound systems, plus artist and licensed collections. The range had outgrown the old navigation.
They wanted a store that was easier to use. That meant a clearer taxonomy, pages that followed usability standards, and a move off the old ecommerce system onto Shopify so the site could rank better and load faster. Parcero designed the UX.

Approach
Taxonomy that separates New, Themes and Planners, then filters by size, layout, binding and type, so planners, calendars and diaries sit in one tree.
Mega menu with a promo tile so campaigns sit beside the catalogue.
Homepage quiz and collection filters for first-time buyers.
Search that uses the same facets as browse.
Information architecture and templates designed for a Shopify rebuild, with cleaner structure for SEO and lighter pages.
Impact
A new collection can go live without rebuilding the navigation.
Promotions have a defined surface.
The catalogue is filterable the way people buy planners, calendars and diaries.
